Description

You will architect and implement cloud data solutions, leading the migration of Teradata workloads to Azure Databricks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and assessment sessions to evaluate existing Teradata environments.
• Architect end-to-end data warehouse and data mart solutions on AWS, Databricks, Spark, and Object Store.
• Migrate workloads from Teradata to the Azure Databricks cloud platform.
• Implement Delta Lake, Databricks SQL, and Unity Catalog for data governance and performance.
• Apply Data Vault and Dimensional modelling principles to design scalable data architectures.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of total Information Technology experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience architecting solutions on AWS, Databricks, Spark, and Object Store.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, including Data Vault, Dimensional modelling, and OLAP design.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks components: Delta Lake, Databricks SQL, and Unity Catalog.
• Proven experience with Teradata environments.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with advanced Data Vault modelling techniques.
• Experience with complex legacy system migrations.
