Description

You will architect, design, and build the Enterprise Data Platform using Azure infrastructure and modern data technologies. You serve as the Databricks administrator and subject matter expert, scaling, tuning, and implementing Unity Catalog for disparate solutions.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build the Enterprise Data Platform using Azure, ADLS Gen 2, Databricks, ADF, Collibra, PowerBI, and Snowflake.
• Develop automation for platform component provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Create sizing and provisioning processes based on user personas, including governance for non-production and production environments.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines, platform-level SLAs, backup strategies, and disaster recovery protocols.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data architecture or engineering.
• Expertise in Databricks administration and tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and PowerBI.
• Proficiency with Azure Infrastructure and ADLS Gen 2.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Collibra.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for platform provisioning.
• Ability to establish CI/CD best practices and automated deployment pipelines.
• Experience building data platforms for internal and external data sharing.
• Knowledge of Azure policies and compliance frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing Unity Catalog for governance.
