Description

You will design and maintain enterprise data warehousing solutions on Databricks, ensuring data quality, governance, and performance across analytics platforms.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous delivery of sophisticated data pipelines supporting applications and reporting.
• Design and implement dimensional data models, data naming standards, and enterprise data dictionaries.
• Monitor data warehouse loads during critical periods, including weekends and off-shifts as necessary.
• Resolve data anomalies and quality issues by collaborating with stakeholders and implementing data quality assurance processes.
• Review database architecture and propose solutions to scale processing and reporting functionality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in relational database and data warehouse design within enterprise production environments.
• 3+ years of experience with Databricks in a live production environment.
• In-depth knowledge of T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Proficiency with Azure Data Factory for data integration.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI.
• Understanding of medallion architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric.
• Familiarity with DAX, Azure storage accounts, Azure DevOps, IaaS concepts, BICEP scripting, and SQL PaaS.
