Description

Develop and optimize data solutions within a financial services environment using Databricks and Azure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes on Databricks.
• Leverage Azure cloud services for data ingestion, processing, and integration.
• Manage, cleanse, and govern enterprise data using MDM and/or FISSEE.
• Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to build scalable data solutions.
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with financial industry regulations.

Required Skills

• 5–6 years of IT/Data Engineering experience with proven expertise as a Databricks Developer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks (PySpark/Spark SQL).
• Solid knowledge of Azure cloud services (Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse).
• Exposure to Master Data Management (MDM) and/or FISSEE.
• Prior experience in the Financial Services / Banking / Capital Markets domain.
• Strong understanding of data security and regulatory standards in finance.
• CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, or data governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau).
