Description

You will own the design, development, and maintenance of data models and ETL pipelines within the Databricks environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze end-to-end data flows from sources including HANA and Oracle into Databricks.
• Design and maintain data models using Star Schema concepts.
• Map business requirements to technical specifications for reporting deliverables.
• Identify data inconsistencies and communicate gaps to engineering and business teams.
• Evaluate existing pipelines to ensure alignment with the broader data landscape.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and Data Warehouse concepts.
• Proficiency in data modeling and Star Schema design.
• Experience handling data from HANA and Oracle sources.
• Experience with real-time, near real-time, and batch data processing.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with data visualization tools.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
