Description

Design and implement scalable, secure cloud solutions using the Databricks platform on AWS.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect solutions on the AWS Databricks platform using Delta Lake and Lakehouse Architecture.
• Build and maintain applications using Java 17, Spring Boot, and Node.js.
• Manage data streaming and storage using Kafka, MSK, and MongoDB.
• Design and implement scalable BI reports in Tableau.
• Develop data integration and data warehousing workflows following industry best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in data or software engineering.
• Expertise in Databricks, Delta Lake, and Lakehouse Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including DynamoDB and MSK.
• Proficiency in PySpark for data processing.
• Strong backend development skills in Java 17 and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Kafka and MongoDB 5.3.x.
• Frontend development experience with React, Node.js, and Thymeleaf.
• Familiarity with IRS EDP Databricks and IRS Analytical platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building scalable BI reports in Tableau.
