Description

You will manage Databricks infrastructure on AWS and support Oracle database administration across on-premises and RDS environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, configure, and administer the Databricks platform within AWS, including cluster setup and compute resource allocation.
• Prepare scripts, policies, and disaster recovery plans for the Databricks environment.
• Provision user access, monitor resource usage, and track platform performance metrics.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to manage Databricks security and environment stability.
• Support the Senior Oracle DBA in managing on-premises databases and AWS Oracle RDS, including performance monitoring, backups, and patching.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Agile Project Management.
• 7-10 years of experience with the Databricks platform.
• 7-10 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
• 3-5 years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience configuring compute resources and Databricks clusters.
• Proficiency in managing AWS Oracle RDS.
• Ability to monitor database performance, backups, and restores.
• Experience with automated and manual patching schedules.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
