Description

Design and implement big data solutions on the cloud to support data analytics and warehousing needs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Hadoop big data solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Code, test, and document data systems to build scalable applications.
• Develop strategies for populating data lakes and support batch and real-time analytical solutions.
• Collaborate with distributed teams to ensure consistency across data solutions.
• Perform technology research to resolve technical issues and evaluate new releases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data warehousing, engineering, and software solutions design.
• Hands-on experience with the Databricks stack.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.
• Proficiency in streaming technologies.
• Experience building solutions with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools including Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.
• Understanding of submitting jobs using Workflows, API, and CLI.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Redwood.
