Description

You will engineer data products and analytics for claims, P&L, and commercial datasets using Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support data applications through hands-on engineering.
• Collaborate with architects to review low-level implementation designs and data flows.
• Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and test deployment for complex data solutions.
• Recommend best practices for long-term system design to business stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation for downstream integrations and support production issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in Data Warehousing, Data Integration, or Data Engineering.
• Practical experience with Azure Databricks.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience using Python or Scala.
• Hands-on data modeling with understanding of KPI impact.
• Working knowledge of the Azure ecosystem.
• Experience with analytical platforms like Power BI, AzureML, or Synapse.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related engineering field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• P&C Insurance industry experience.
