You will lead the Databricks practice strategy, delivery management, and technical execution for enterprise data engineering engagements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the Databricks practice strategy, growth, and execution across data engineering projects.
• Lead end-to-end data engineering initiatives, ensuring scalable architecture and robust pipeline design.
• Provide leadership to engineering teams by setting delivery standards, mentoring senior talent, and ensuring consistent performance.
• Guide architectural decisions and implementation strategies for Databricks-based solutions.
• Manage delivery activities including planning, execution, governance, and risk mitigation.

Required Skills

• 20+ years of experience in data engineering and delivery management.
• Extensive expertise with Azure Databricks and core Databricks platform capabilities.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines and big data processing frameworks.
• Proven track record of building and scaling data engineering or analytics practices.
• Experience managing large-scale delivery programs and enterprise data transformation.
• Ability to define technical strategy and translate business needs into scalable solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and client engagement skills at senior leadership levels.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other major cloud data platforms beyond Azure.
• Background in establishing new technical practices from scratch.
