Description

You will build and maintain reference data systems for securities and pricing data on the Azure Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data platform solutions using Azure Databricks and Azure Cloud services.
• Execute ETL/ELT processes to support various data domains and manage data flows.
• Build reference data systems for securities and pricing data across capital markets.
• Manage API Gateways and develop APIs using FastAPI or similar Python frameworks.
• Coordinate with the Data Strategy team to ensure adherence to internal development standards.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of software development experience using Python and PySpark.
• Extensive experience with Azure Databricks.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Gen 2, Azure Data Fabric, and Azure Functions.
• Proficiency in managing API Gateways and developing APIs using FastAPI.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in RDBMS or NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of the DevOps lifecycle, including git, Jenkins, and CI/CD processes.
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the financial services industry, specifically with financial instruments, asset classes, and market data.
