Description

You will own the consumption layer of the data platform, focusing on semantic modeling and BI integration within Databricks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement metric views using Databricks SQL and Analysis Services (AAS).
• Build and maintain semantic data models to support business intelligence consumption.
• Optimize data delivery for PowerBI and other consumption tools.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across the analytics layer.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.
• Strong expertise in Databricks platform and architecture.
• Proven experience in data modeling, specifically semantic and metric views.
• Hands-on experience with Analysis Services (AAS).
• Proficiency in PowerBI and DAX for report development.
• Ability to work independently as an Individual Contributor (IC).

Preferred Skills

• Experience bridging Databricks with enterprise BI tools beyond PowerBI.
