Description

You will validate ETL pipelines built on Databricks, ensuring data correctness, consistency, and release readiness.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for Databricks-based ETL pipelines.
• Validate data transformations, joins, aggregations, and load outcomes.
• Create test cases covering functional scenarios, edge cases, and failure conditions.
• Perform regression testing for ETL changes to support release readiness.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and improve data quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in ETL testing and data pipeline quality assurance.
• Hands-on experience validating Databricks jobs and workflows.
• Strong understanding of data correctness checks (row counts, schema validation, transformation outcomes).
• Experience executing repeatable testing cycles for ETL releases.
• Proficiency in end-to-end pipeline validation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Test Automation for ETL validation workflows.
