Lead product-centric data engineering initiatives and API development within an agile delivery environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead data engineering initiatives and product-centric delivery in agile environments.
• Build and manage APIs including REST, GraphQL, and gRPC alongside microservices.
• Implement data security and compliance measures such as encryption, access control, and auditing for sensitive HR data.
• Optimize system performance, security, and cloud costs.
• Manage data processing pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Delta Lake.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, big data, or API development.
• 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, Azure SQL, and Microsoft Azure services.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python, Scala, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, and Delta Lake.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Bicep.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Degree in any field (Any Graduate).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with event-driven architecture.
• Exposure to Informatica for ETL/ELT and data integration.
