Description

You will manage and maintain data infrastructure, focusing on performance, security, and availability.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain database management systems including Azure Databricks, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve query efficiency.
• Manage data backup, recovery strategies, and disaster recovery plans.
• Implement security measures, ensuring data integrity and role-based access control.
• Automate routine maintenance tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration or data platform management.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, database optimization techniques, and indexing strategies.
• Proficiency in database backup, recovery, and replication strategies.
• Experience with cloud-based data services, specifically Azure Databricks.
• Knowledge of database security protocols, RBAC, and encryption techniques.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell or Python.
• Experience with MongoDB.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NoSQL databases like Cassandra or DynamoDB.
