Description

Administer and maintain Databricks workspaces across Dev, Test, and Prod environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Provision and configure Databricks workspaces, including SQL Warehouses, clusters, libraries, and secrets.
• Implement user access controls, roles, and permissions while ensuring audit readiness and compliance with security policies.
• Configure and support CI/CD pipelines for Databricks deployments, coordinating with DevOps for automated releases and rollbacks.
• Monitor workspace health, cluster usage, and job execution to troubleshoot performance and configuration issues.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the customer, providing operational guidance to data engineers and architects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience administering Databricks across multiple environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks workspaces, clusters, jobs, libraries, and secrets.
• Experience configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines for data platforms.
• Knowledge of Lakehouse architecture and data platform operations.
• Familiarity with JDBC/ODBC connectivity and enterprise system integrations.
• Ability to work independently at customer locations with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in onsite/offshore delivery models.
• Process-oriented mindset with strong documentation discipline.
