Description

Manage and maintain the Databricks platform infrastructure across all environments.

Provision, configure, and maintain Databricks workspaces across Dev, Test, and Prod environments.

Configure and manage Lakehouse SQL Warehouses, ensuring reliable connectivity via JDBC/ODBC.

Implement and manage user access controls, roles, and permissions within Databricks.

Support platform operations by monitoring workspace health, cluster usage, and job execution.

Responsibilities

• Provision and configure Databricks workspaces across Dev, Test, and Prod environments.
• Manage Lakehouse SQL Warehouses and ensure reliable JDBC/ODBC connectivity.
• Implement user access controls, roles, and permissions within Databricks.
• Monitor workspace health, cluster usage, and job execution to support platform operations.
• Act as the primary Single Point of Contact for platform operations at the customer location.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Databricks Administrator.
• Experience administering Databricks across multiple environments (workspaces, clusters, jobs, libraries, secrets).
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts for data platforms and enabling Databricks deployments.
• Understanding of Lakehouse architecture and general data platform operations.
• Experience working in onsite/offshore delivery models.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Process-oriented mindset with strong documentation discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to work independently at a customer location with minimal handholding.
