Description

You will design, configure, and secure Databricks workspaces on AWS, managing platform infrastructure and access controls.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy Databricks workspaces (Classic and serverless) on AWS, ensuring security and scalability.
• Manage platform security, including SSO, identity management, cluster policies, and secret scopes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Configure AWS networking components such as VPC, PrivateLink, IAM, and routing to support Databricks integration.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate Databricks into the broader AWS ecosystem without acting as a dedicated networking specialist.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in platform architecture or DevOps roles.
• Strong expertise in Databricks platform administration and workspace configuration.
• Proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Working knowledge of AWS services, specifically IAM, VPC, and PrivateLink.
• Experience with identity and access management (SSO) and secret management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of tenure in previous roles, demonstrating stability and depth.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS serverless workspace features.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data platform infrastructure.
