Description

You will own the administration, governance, and automation of Databricks platform infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Administer Databricks accounts and workspaces, enforcing governance and security standards.
• Design and implement automation solutions for workspace configuration and platform administration.
• Build and maintain data pipelines using Autoloader, Delta Live Tables, and Workflows.
• Implement MLOps practices, managing the model lifecycle via MLflow and Model Registry.
• Monitor and optimize platform performance, reliability, and cost efficiency for data and ML workloads.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Databricks platform administration, including account and workspace management.
• Hands-on experience developing data pipelines using Autoloader, Delta Live Tables, and Workflows.
• Experience implementing MLOps frameworks using MLflow, Model Registry, and model serving endpoints.
• Experience working in large-scale distributed data environments on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Databricks SQL tools, including queries and dashboards.
• Knowledge of enterprise data governance and security, including Unity Catalog architecture.
• Experience with Azure services such as Entra ID, Data Factory, or Key Vault.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure networking concepts, including VNet injection.
• Relevant Databricks or cloud platform certifications.
