Description

You own the delivery of enterprise Databricks implementations and Azure data platform migrations, driving planning, prioritization, and execution across cross-functional teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own product backlogs and Agile delivery for Azure data services, including Synapse, Databricks, and Data Factory.
• Lead enterprise Databricks implementations or migration programs, managing multiple workstreams and third-party vendors.
• Drive planning, risk management, and governance activities while maintaining strong stakeholder communication and executive presence.
• Coordinate with Microsoft consulting teams and internal partners to align technical delivery with business goals.
• Manage cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of data platform modernization initiatives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in Technical Manager, Product Owner, Technical PM, Program Manager, or Data Platform Manager roles.
• Proven experience leading enterprise Databricks implementations or migration programs.
• Strong background in Azure Data Platform architecture and services.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Factory.
• Product backlog ownership and Agile delivery experience.
• Experience managing multiple cross-functional teams and coordinating third-party vendors.
• Strong stakeholder communication and executive presence.

Preferred Skills

• Direct Azure Synapse to Databricks migration experience.
• Power BI modernization and report migration experience.
• CSPO, SAFe Product Owner, PMP, or Scrum certifications.
