Description

You will serve as the primary technical lead for customer accounts, designing and implementing solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy technical solutions by translating business requirements into Databricks architectures.
• Perform hands-on development including writing Spark, Python, and SQL code, configuring clusters, and optimizing performance.
• Lead Proof of Concept (POC) development to demonstrate platform value for specific use cases.
• Conduct technical workshops and training to enable customer engineering teams.
• Manage technical projects to ensure timely delivery and successful implementation outcomes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or cloud-based solutions.
• Deep understanding of distributed computing frameworks, specifically Apache Spark.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Scala, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with data warehousing, data lake architectures, and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

• Databricks certifications.
• Experience within specific industry verticals such as finance, healthcare, or retail.
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
