Description

You will serve as the primary technical lead for customer accounts, designing and implementing solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy technical solutions by translating business requirements into Databricks architectures.
• Perform hands-on development using Spark, Python, and SQL to optimize cluster performance and system integration.
• Lead the development of Proof of Concept (POC) projects to demonstrate platform value for specific use cases.
• Conduct technical workshops and training to enable customer teams on the platform.
• Manage technical projects and collaborate with sales teams on technical proposals and presentations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or cloud-based solutions.
• Deep understanding of distributed computing frameworks, specifically Apache Spark.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Scala, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Practical knowledge of data warehousing, data lake architectures, and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for managing multiple simultaneous projects.

Preferred Skills

• Databricks certifications.
• Experience with specific industry verticals such as finance, healthcare, or retail.
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
