Description

Perform hands-on maintenance, support, and troubleshooting for data center hardware and infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, stage, and execute hardware startups, shutdowns, and decommissioning for racks, drives, and switches.
• Diagnose hardware issues, replace faulty components, and verify grounding, labeling, and cabling against safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot network issues across Layer-1, Layer-2, and Layer-3 and manage environment configurations.
• Report and escalate incidents, maintaining ticket completion against KPIs and SLAs.
• Administer Windows Server OS, WinPE OS, and utilize IPMI for diagnostics.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience as a data center technician or in related hardware support roles.
• Exceptional knowledge of server hardware, including component and system failure analysis.
• Proficiency in Windows Server OS, WinPE OS administration, and IPMI diagnostics.
• Experience setting up Virtual Machines and managing environment configurations.
• Familiarity with basic Linux and Windows scripting (Powershell, Python, Bash).
• Strong understanding of networking layers and hardware software tools.
• Ability to work autonomously within a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Linux PXE services.
• CCNA certification or equivalent experience.
• CompTIA Server+ certification.
