Description

You will perform hands-on technical support and maintenance within the data center environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to ServiceNow incident tickets and manage associated tasks.
• Install, remove, or swap network and IT equipment components.
• Troubleshoot and repair power cables and identify switch port locations.
• Execute IMAC activities for end-user LAN and voice devices.
• Maintain and repair various telecom systems, including fiber, microwave, and cellular infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data center operations or field service support.
• Proficiency in patching, cable installation, and power lead installation.
• Ability to perform visual hardware checks (lights, console errors) during troubleshooting.
• Experience with WAN and LoRaWAN technologies.
• Familiarity with network diagnostics, including pinging and DNS lookups.
• Knowledge of physical access management and adherence to safety/risk management processes.
• Experience supporting various telecom systems (e.g., WiFi, CCTV, IP Telephony).
• Understanding of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans.
