Description

You will design, implement, and manage observability solutions using the Datadog platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage observability solutions including Logs, Metrics, APM, RUM, and Synthetics.
• Develop real-time dashboards and alerts to monitor infrastructure and application health.
• Integrate Datadog with AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Build automation for alert tuning, anomaly detection, and Synthetic testing.
• Collaborate with SRE, DevOps, and development teams to define observability strategies and contribute to incident postmortems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in observability or monitoring roles.
• Hands-on experience with Datadog (Logs, Metrics, APM, RUM, Synthetics).
• Proficiency with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud environments.
• Experience managing workloads in Kubernetes.
• Practical knowledge of Synthetic testing.
• Ability to integrate monitoring tools with communication platforms like Teams.
• Experience creating actionable dashboards and alerting frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience providing technical training and documentation to engineering teams.
