Description

You will manage and optimize the Datadog monitoring infrastructure for engineering teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Datadog agents across Linux and Windows environments.
• Build and maintain custom dashboards and widgets for real-time system visibility.
• Create and refine alerting rules to reduce noise and ensure critical issues are caught.
• Develop custom integrations and scripts for log collection and metric ingestion.

Required Skills

• 6-8 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Deep expertise with Datadog platform capabilities, including APM, logs, and infrastructure monitoring.
• Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration and networking fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with log management solutions and structured data parsing.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Go for automation tasks.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and their monitoring.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed system issues using telemetry data.
