Description

You will lead the transition and transformation of Datadog monitoring solutions into client environments, serving as the L3 escalation point for complex technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transition of Datadog monitoring solutions by analyzing existing systems and executing seamless integration plans.
• Design and implement advanced Datadog configurations to meet specific client monitoring requirements.
• Optimize system performance by fine-tuning alerting, incident response, and reporting mechanisms.
• Mentor L1/L2 support teams and conduct client training sessions to improve platform proficiency.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for all transition and transformation processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience implementing Datadog solutions with a focus on transition and transformation.
• Deep proficiency in the Datadog platform, including setup, configuration, and customization.
• Strong expertise in Application Performance Monitoring (APM), infrastructure monitoring, and cloud-based monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with Python and Bash for automation and integration.
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes within microservices architectures.
• Expertise in incident response, log analysis, and performance optimization.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant certifications in Datadog or related monitoring technologies.
