Description

Lead the design, implementation, and management of Datadog solutions across diverse infrastructure, applications, and services.

You will own the monitoring strategy, mentoring engineers, and automating response processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Datadog integrations with cloud platforms, container orchestration tools, and on-premises hosts.
• Manage Datadog Agent-based deployments, custom YAML configurations, and revision control.
• Lead a team of monitoring engineers through mentorship, training, and technical guidance.
• Automate monitoring and response processes in coordination with DevOps teams.
• Troubleshoot technical issues by reproducing bugs and diving into Datadog integrations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
• 7+ years of specific, hands-on experience with Datadog.
• Expertise in Datadog dashboards, alerts, and log analysis.
• Experience with SIEM migration from tools such as New Relic, Splunk, or AppDynamics.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux administration.
• Experience with YAML configuration.
• Experience with Splunk.

Preferred Skills

• Datadog Certified Associate or Datadog Certified Professional certification.
