Description

Lead the consolidation of monitoring systems into DataDog to support Java-based applications across AWS migrations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate log management from Nagios to DataDog.
• Transition network device and performance monitoring from SolarWinds to DataDog.
• Move synthetic monitoring from CloudBeat to DataDog.
• Create dashboards and manage cloud monitoring during AWS migrations.
• Own log management, network monitoring, and synthetic monitoring implementations.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience monitoring Java-based applications with enterprise tools.
• 3+ years of DataDog experience specifically covering log management and network monitoring.
• 5+ years of overall IT experience.
• Proficiency with Linux environments.
• Experience with DataDog, AWS, Linux, and Java.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using DataDog for monitoring AWS applications or creating custom dashboards.
• Knowledge of Agile/SAFe methodologies.
• Experience with Nagios, AppDynamics, SolarWinds, or Ansible automation scripting.
