Description

You will manage the backend administration and integration of DataDog monitoring tools. You will install, integrate, and maintain DataDog while managing log data using the ELK Stack. You will administer Red Hat Linux platforms, configure SSL setups, and monitor network components.

Responsibilities

• Install, integrate, and maintain DataDog for backend administration support.
• Manage log data using the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Administer Linux platforms with a focus on Red Hat environments.
• Configure SSL setups, including CA certificate installation on Linux servers.
• Monitor network components and utilization across the infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on IT Engineering experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing DataDog backend administration.
• Strong knowledge of Java.
• Extensive experience with Red Hat Linux platforms.
• Proficiency with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Science, Math, or equivalent experience.
• Python, Shell, or Ansible scripting experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Tomcat web servers.
• Knowledge of AWS Cloud environments.
• Experience with Network Monitoring including Switches, Routers, Palo Alto, SNMP, F5 Load Balancers, WebSeal, Info Blocks, Gigamon, or Network Mapping.
