Description

You will manage the backend administration and integration of DataDog monitoring tools, including installation, maintenance, and log management via the ELK Stack.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, integrate, and maintain DataDog for backend administration support.
• Manage log data using the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Administer Red Hat Linux platforms and configure SSL setups, including CA certificate installation.
• Monitor network components and utilization across the infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on IT Engineering experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing DataDog backend administration.
• Strong knowledge of Java.
• Extensive experience with Red Hat Linux platforms.
• Proficiency with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Science, Math, or equivalent experience.
• Python, Shell, or Ansible scripting experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Tomcat web servers.
• Knowledge of AWS Cloud environments.
• Experience with Network Monitoring including Switches, Routers, Palo Alto, SNMP, F5 Load Balancers, WebSeal, Info Blocks, Gigamon, or Network Mapping.
