Description

Design and implement batch and real-time ETL/ELT solutions for enterprise-scale data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build and design ETL code following established best practices.
• Develop, tune, and debug complex SQL applications.
• Design schemas and data models to manage complex data sets.
• Optimize data system performance through effective aggregation strategies and database design.
• Implement data streaming and custom ETL/ELT solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on development experience with parallel processing databases like Teradata.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud technologies including AWS, BigQuery, and Data Proc on GCP.
• Expert-level hands-on development experience using Informatica IICS.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Spark.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex application development and tuning.
• Experience with data streaming technologies such as Kafka.
• Proficiency in Linux and shell scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Bamboo, Jenkins, and Bitbucket.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using GCP native ETL solutions.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
