Description

You will manage and optimize T-MSIS data integrity and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform investigative studies using SQL and BI Query to identify errors or weaknesses in T-MSIS-processed data.
• Document current and change states of SC TMSIS mapping and prepare Source-To-Target (S2T) revisions.
• Develop test plans for data quality issues, including Unit and SIT testing.
• Conduct root cause analysis on data quality issues and coordinate with development teams for resolution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare recommendations for improving T-MSIS data and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of practical experience with Transformed Medicaid Statistical Information System (T-MSIS) Analytic files.
• Strong quantitative data analysis skills for analyzing claims and encounter data.
• Expertise in ETL mapping design, coding, and implementing business logic.
• Proficiency with SQL, BI Query, Data Warehouse, and Relational Databases.
• Practical experience documenting data mapping and transformations for consolidated federal reporting.
• Working knowledge of both MMIS and Healthcare systems.
• Ability to summarize complex clinical and technical claim information for non-technical users.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables.

Preferred Skills

• In-depth technical understanding of various healthcare EDI format segments.
