Description

You will manage and optimize data infrastructure and operations within a GCP environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain GCP services including GCS, GKE, BigQuery, Spanner, Composer, Cloud Logging, and Compute.
• Implement and monitor observability using Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry.
• Configure alerting mechanisms and scheduling tools via OpsGenie.
• Maintain CI/CD processes to support automated data workflows.
• Provide operational support for data pipelines and infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience as a DataOps Engineer.
• Proficiency with GCP services (GCS, GKE, BQ, Spanner, Composer, Cloud Logging, Compute).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools: Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry.
• Hands-on experience with OpsGenie for incident management.
• Strong proficiency in Python and general scripting.
• Practical experience implementing CI/CD processes.
• Deep understanding of scheduling tools and alerting mechanisms.
