Description

Manage and maintain IBM API Connect and DataPower infrastructure, handling deployments, incident management, and automation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build, implement, and monitor API Connect and DataPower systems and infrastructure.
• Deploy changes to production environments and facilitate incident management and root cause analysis.
• Triage API, DataPower service, security, and network-related issues.
• Automate package builds and application deployments using shell scripting, Bamboo plans, and Ansible templates.
• Provide on-call support for production issues and participate in testing cycles.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with IBM DataPower and API Connect systems.
• Strong knowledge of PKI, HTTPS TLS mechanisms, data encryption/decryption, and certificate lifecycle management.
• Solid understanding of network routing, subnets, and network load balancing design.
• Ability to conduct and analyze packet captures.
• Linux System Administration, including file systems, shell profile management, and user/storage management.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Bitbucket, Artifactory, Bamboo, and Ansible.
• Proficiency in Shell scripting for automation.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring, logging, and performance tracking.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the initial setup or building of API Connect and DataPower systems.
• Experience using DataPower operational dashboards and API Connect analytics.
