Description

You will manage the configuration, administration, and development of DataPower appliances to support web service proxies and security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Configure web service proxies for SOAP and REST-based services using Multi-Protocol Gateways (MPG) and XML Firewalls.
• Handle DataPower administration including installation, firmware updates, upgrades, security, and monitoring.
• Implement AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Auditing), load balancing, and SSL/TLS connections.
• Manage the deployment of XSLT, XSDs, and WSDLs, including code migration and implementation.
• Troubleshoot production and non-production issues and coordinate with IBM via PMR requests.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with DataPower administration and development.
• Hands-on experience with XML, SOAP, XSLT, XSD, XPath, and WSDL.
• Proficiency in Web Services, WS Security Policy, and WSRR.
• Experience configuring dynamic routing and CLI-based management.
• Ability to create deployment plans and manage day-to-day system maintenance.
• Experience with DataPower appliance code migration.
