Description

You will own the configuration, design, development, administration, and maintenance of DataPower (IDG/X2) appliances.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Configure new appliances for networking and link aggregation across all environments.
• Manage firmware and license upgrades for DataPower infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain API Orchestration, Mediation, and Protocol Bindings to transform message structures.
• Troubleshoot message translation issues between backend systems, specifically JSON to SOAP and SOAP to JSON.
• Execute Disaster Recovery procedures for DataPower infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience configuring and maintaining DataPower (IDG/X2) appliances.
• Expertise in security aspects: AAA, Kerberos, OAuth, SAML, JWT, Encryption/Decryption, Digital Certs, JSON Security, and WS-Security.
• Strong knowledge of integrating DataPower with WMQ and Tibco EMS for synchronous and asynchronous integrations.
• Expertise in WSDL, XML, XSLT, JSON, XPath, and Gateway scripting.
• Experience with DataPower API Orchestration and message structure transformation.
• Proficiency in DevOps Automation using Octopus, Team City, or Ansible for deployments and upgrades.
• Experience deploying DataPower within Containers and Kubernetes.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills for Services/APIs/Administration.
