Description

Manage IBM DataPower firmware deployment, policy configuration, and application integration for FHIR APIs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and implement DataPower services including Web Services Proxy and Multiprotocol Gateway.
• Configure DataPower servers as internal and external proxies for FHIR APIs using JSON data interchange.
• Manage security implementations including SSL/TLS, WS-Security, and OAuth configuration.
• Execute automated deployment strategies and manage version control for DataPower objects.
• Perform troubleshooting, auditing, and patch management to ensure environment compliance.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of hands-on IBM DataPower experience.
• 5+ years of experience administering IBM Power8/9 Systems environments.
• Proficiency with DP CLI and automated deployment strategies.
• Experience with SOAP and REST-based web services.
• Technical expertise in AAA, XSLT, XSD, and WSDL.
• Strong understanding of SSL/TLS and WS-Security.
• Experience with version control and build management of DataPower objects.
• Linux Administration skills.
• Knowledge of Work Management, Performance Tuning, and Backup/Recovery in Power8/9 environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience configuring DataPower for FHIR APIs using JSON.
• Familiarity with OAuth configuration.
