Description

Manage the configuration, maintenance, and security of DataPower appliances and middleware infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage DataPower appliances, handling policy management, firmware updates, and crypto policy updates.
• Provision, install, and maintain server hardware, operating systems, and related software infrastructure.
• Monitor system integrity and availability by reviewing application logs and verifying scheduled backup jobs.
• Perform regular security monitoring, OS patching, and hardware/software troubleshooting for Level 2 and Level 3 support.
• Optimize system performance through resource tuning, capacity planning, and hardware upgrades.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems administration and middleware technologies.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with DataPower appliances.
• Proficiency with XML, JSON, XSLT, Java, and JavaScript.
• Experience with web services, WSDL, SOAP, and REST.
• Experience with Ansible, Shell, and other automation languages.
• Strong knowledge of API Gateway and middleware technologies.
• Experience with system monitoring, backup operations, and file archival.

Preferred Skills

• MCSA or UNIX/Linux equivalent certification.
• MCSE and certification in VMware, NetGil/Citrix, SharePoint 2007, or F5.
