Description

Build and maintain IBM InfoSphere DataStage ETL jobs, including transformations, data flows, and orchestration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain DataStage jobs, implementing data extraction, transformation, and loading logic using DataStage components and SQL-based operations.
• Debug and resolve ETL failures by analyzing job logs, execution plans, and data quality issues.
• Optimize DataStage job performance for throughput, resource usage, and runtime stability.
• Support deployment and operational readiness by documenting jobs and assisting with monitoring and incident resolution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience in data integration and ETL development.
• Strong proficiency in IBM InfoSphere DataStage, including job design and transformations.
• Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting using DataStage job logs.
• Proficiency in SQL-based data extraction and validation within ETL workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PL/SQL.
