Description

Design and implement ETL/ELT solutions for multi-terabyte data warehouse platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop ETL jobs and reusable frameworks using IBM DataStage 11.5 and QualityStage.
• Design technical solutions and prepare estimations for data warehouse migrations.
• Troubleshoot development issues and perform performance tuning for high-volume transaction systems.
• Prepare test cases and solutions based on functional specifications and scenarios.
• Communicate technical solutions, progress, and challenges to stakeholders and project managers.

Required Skills

• 7-8 years of hands-on experience with IBM DataStage 11.5 and QualityStage.
• Proven experience migrating data warehouse platforms.
• Strong working knowledge of Snowflake and RDBMS including Oracle, SQL Server, and Teradata.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, including Snowflake and Star schema implementations.
• Proficiency in Unix shell scripting.
• Ability to design for high-volume transaction systems and multi-terabyte environments.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with complex multi-terabyte data warehouse migrations.
