Description

You will design and implement ETL pipelines using IBM DataStage, SQL, and Azure technologies. You will own the full lifecycle from extraction to loading in Snowflake Cloud Datawarehouse.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement DataStage Parallel Jobs, job sequencing, parameter sets, and parallel routines.
• Build infrastructure for data extraction and loading using Snowflake, SQL, and Azure.
• Troubleshoot DataStage jobs and perform performance tuning to resolve issues.
• Develop reusable Unix scripts to automate jobs and components.
• Document technical specifications, perform unit testing, and investigate ETL pipelines to propose data solutions.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in DataStage Administration, Development, and CDC.
• 2+ years of recent hands-on experience with IBM DataStage v11.x.
• Expertise in DataStage Designer, Director, and Operations Console.
• Proficiency in UNIX and Unix script automation.
• Strong SQL skills including query development, debugging, and RDBMS tuning.
• Experience with DB2, Oracle, Teradata, Hive, and HBase.
• Deep understanding of Data Warehousing, Star Schema, and Snowflake Schema methodologies.
• Experience working within Agile or Scaled Agile frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of AutoSys scheduler.
