Description

You design and implement ETL solutions using IBM InfoSphere DataStage to manage data movement into warehouses and marts.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build DataStage jobs to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources.
• Optimize ETL process performance to meet business requirements and ensure efficient processing.
• Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Support existing production DataStage jobs by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle within agile frameworks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in ETL development.
• Strong proficiency with IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases, specifically Oracle.
• Deep knowledge of ETL concepts, data warehousing principles, and integration best practices.
• Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems and Shell Scripting.
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts and techniques.
• Experience working within SDLC, Agile, and DevOps environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DevOps practices in a production environment.
