Description

You will design, implement, and support ETL/ELT processes for complex data warehouses and marts.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, implement, and test ETL/ELT frameworks and processes.
• Extract data from source systems, transform it, and load it into Greenplum databases.
• Create and publish packages in Cognos Framework Manager.
• Build List, Crosstab, Chart, Summary, Burst, Drill-Down, and Drill-Through reports.
• Gather requirements, perform analysis, and provide end-user training.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of IT experience in data warehousing, data modeling, data integration, and migration.
• Expertise in DataStage ETL and Cognos BI tools (Framework Manager, Report Studio, and Query Studio).
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server, TSQL, and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Experience with Oracle, Greenplum, and SQL Server databases.
• Ability to develop stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, and complex queries.
• Skill in tuning database queries using various techniques.
• Deep understanding of dimensional modeling, including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema methodologies.
• Knowledge of the Data Warehousing SDLC and architecture for ETL, reporting, and BI tools.

Preferred Skills

• Certification in ETL and BI tools.
