Description

You will develop and maintain data integration solutions using IBM DataStage, owning the ETL lifecycle from design to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data integration solutions using IBM DataStage.
• Optimize ETL processes to enhance data quality, performance, and support high-volume data loads.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration, application functionality, and batch jobs.
• Maintain batch jobs and collaborate with project teams to propagate changes across all environments during releases.
• Implement system enhancements, automation, and process improvements using Shell Scripts and SQL.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with IBM DataStage and ETL processes.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Shell Scripts for automation.
• Experience with performance tuning, source-to-target mapping design, and business rules validation.
• Knowledge of data quality standards and high-volume data load strategies.
• Ability to set up new jobs based on configuration requests and document procedures clearly.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, specifically Splunk.
• Experience collaborating with QA, BA, and SME teams to define and meet technical requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with job configuration, testing, and planning in relevant technologies.
