Description

You design, develop, and maintain ETL jobs using IBM DataStage and Talend to support data warehousing and reporting systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build reusable components and frameworks for data integration using IBM DataStage and Talend.
• Extract, transform, and load data from databases, APIs, flat files, and cloud sources.
• Optimize ETL workflows for performance and scalability, handling large data volumes efficiently.
• Implement data validation, cleansing, and transformation rules for structured and semi-structured data.
• Collaborate with business analysts and architects in agile processes to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in ETL design and development.
• Strong expertise in IBM DataStage (Parallel Jobs, Server Jobs).
• Hands-on experience with Talend (Open Studio / Data Integration).
• Proficient SQL knowledge across Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake schema, fact/dimension tables).
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Knowledge of data modeling and version control deployment processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake and modern cloud data platforms.
• Knowledge of data governance and security standards.
