Description

You will design and implement high-quality ETL pipelines using IBM DataStage, ensuring data accuracy and metadata compliance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex data pipelines leveraging extensive SQL and PL/SQL skills across MSSQL Server and Teradata.
• Write and optimize stored procedures and Unix shell scripts to support data processing and automation.
• Create technical design documents, estimate work packages, and facilitate design and troubleshooting meetings.
• Participate in walkthrough reviews of technical specifications, code, and unit test plans to ensure solution quality.
• Drive technical platform evolution and provide third-level support for production issues.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in complex, time-sensitive development environments.
• Extensive hands-on experience with IBM DataStage for ETL development.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL and complex SQL within MSSQL Server and Teradata.
• Strong skills in Unix shell scripting and creating stored procedures.
• Working knowledge of GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and the Software Development Life Cycle (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative).
• Ability to support at-scale testing, including simulations, UAT, and reporting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with development teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience facilitating technical design meetings and managing low-level planning of work packages.
