Description

Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of ETL solutions using IBM InfoSphere DataStage. Manage end-to-end version upgrades, specifically moving from v8.x to v11.x, and execute migrations to Cloud Pak for DataStage.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ETL frameworks and architectures using IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
• Execute migrations and upgrades from On-Premise DataStage to Cloud Pak for DataStage.
• Optimize ETL performance and ensure adherence to industry best practices and standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide technical solutions to complex data problems.
• Manage end-to-end version upgrades, specifically moving from v8.x to v11.x.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in ETL architecture and implementation.
• Expertise in IBM InfoSphere DataStage, specifically version 11.x.
• Proven experience with at least two end-to-end DataStage version upgrades (v8.x to v11.x).
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux and Shell Scripting.
• Experience with Java.
• Knowledge of Data Lineage tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cloud Pak for DataStage migrations.
