Description

You will lead IBM DataStage ETL development and production support for Finance and Regulatory Reporting workloads.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor DataStage Director and Operations Console to ensure smooth execution of daily, monthly, and quarterly ETL workloads.
• Manage job schedules using Huntington Bank enterprise scheduling tools (Zena) and ensure adherence to SLAs.
• Provide L2 and L3 support for ETL job failures, including error analysis, root cause analysis, and timely restarts.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure teams to maintain IBM InfoSphere Information Server (IIS) platform health and manage environment-level configurations.
• Promote DataStage code (DSX/ISX) across environments following change management processes and validate ETL components during deployment.

Required Skills

• IBM DataStage and ETL Development expertise.
• Hands-on experience with DataStage Director and Operations Console.
• Proficiency in InfoSphere Information Server administration and maintenance.
• Strong skills in performance optimization, job monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• 10+ years of experience in ETL development and production support.
• Experience with database management and troubleshooting upstream/downstream system defects.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Huntington Bank enterprise scheduling tools like Zena.
• Experience with partitioning techniques (Hash, Range, Entire, Auto), buffer tuning, and parallel processing best practices.
