Description

You will lead the architecture, design, and implementation of data engineering applications and integration pipelines.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end data warehouse solutions and integration pipelines.
• Direct technical project decisions, including scope definition, time estimates, and impact analysis.
• Mentor junior associates and provide technical guidance on complex engineering matters.
• Evaluate and improve existing data engineering systems, processes, and application architectures.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in application development, server administration, or engineering.
• Proficiency in ETL and ELT processes using DataStage or Informatica.
• Strong expertise in SQL and SQL scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Netezza, or Oracle database platforms.
• Experience with Python and dbt (Data Build Tool).
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data platform design, and data warehousing principles.
• Experience working within AWS environments.
• Knowledge of Data Vault Modeling and Data Lake architectures.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar version control systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with financial services data integrations.
• Knowledge of Denodo or Collibra.
